Mayer introduces Tray Filler KF 2260

"The most versatile filler"

With the KF 2260, Mayer is once again expanding its portfolio in the field of filling and pot and tray handling. The KF 2260 is used for filling pots, crates, trays, and for growing trays with small cells.

The +2 minute video above, where you can see the Tray Filler in action, shows how versatile this filler is. The containers can be inserted by hand or it can be used in combination with a pot destacker. It is suitable for pots (max. height: 400mm, max. width: 600mm | min. height: 40mm, min. width: 150mm) and for trays (max. height: 250mm, max. width: 600mm | min. height: 40mm, min. width: 150mm). It has a roller drum and a bidirectional brush for a clean filling result. On top of that, it is easy to change between accessories, and it has a 600mm wide soil returning belt. And due to an inspection hole, maintenance is said to be easy.

The machine consists of:

  • Chain elevator with sticked shovels, fix speed with forward and reverse drive
  • Elevator easy to maintain with a detachable front panel
  • Tray/flat feed conveyor with mechanical speed control
  • Naps on the surface of the conveyor belt for an optimum feed of trays
  • Electronic control system for constant soil supply
  • Adjustable distribution rotor for homogenous filling up tray’s brim
  • Brush off device with feedback of soil into the soil hopper
  • Vibrator, frequency controlled, for compacting the soil (optional)
  • Electronic control box
  • Blow-off devices are available separately

Thanks to an extensive range of accessories, they are also able to offer individual solutions for special applications.
