"Growing peat-free cyclamen is quite possible, but a different nutrition strategy is necessary"

The transition from peat-based substrates to peat-reduced substrates or even peat-free substrates is in full swing. This is why BOL is doing many field trials to get a better and better grip on this.

To demonstrate that a different nutrition strategy is needed for peat-free substrates, a trial has been set up with cyclamen. The image below shows the result:

From left to right: Substrate mainly composed of peat, peat-free substrate with an adapted nutrient strategy, and peat-free substrate without adapted feeding strategy.
