MPS to be headline sponsor for AIPH Grower of the Year Award

MPS, an organization that offers sustainability certification standards for the horticulture industry, has joined as Headline Sponsor for the prestigious AIPH International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) Awards 2025. Organized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), the 2025 Awards are set to take place on Tuesday 28th January 2025 at IPM Essen, Germany.

Established in 2009 by AIPH and Founding Partner FloraCulture International (FCI), the IGOTY Awards celebrate "the best of the best in ornamentals production". The Awards comprise four categories: finished plants and trees, young plants, cut flowers and bulbs, and sustainability. An additional Young International Grower of the Year Award for young professionals aged 25-40 is offered in collaboration with Jungle Talks.

MPS aims to support the horticultural industry in becoming more sustainable by making the sustainability efforts of horticultural entrepreneurs transparent and measurable. To achieve this, the organization offers certificates recognizing the sustainability efforts of growers as well as providing tools to support sustainable improvements. One such tool is the HortiFootprint Calculator, developed in collaboration with LetsGrow.com.

Together, we can champion responsible and high-quality horticultural production."

All winners will be announced at an Awards ceremony on 28th January 2025 at IPM Essen, Germany. Tickets to attend the ceremony cost €120 and include a standing buffet dinner and post-award celebratory drinks. Groups of five are priced at €480, saving 20%, and groups of ten cost €840, saving 30%.
