Yesterday, on January 16, the Benchmark Poinsettia Meeting took place at Royal FloraHolland in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands and Italian breeder and young plant grower secured six out of the eight awards. "We are so proud of our growers who cultivate our genetics", Andrea Lazzeri comments.

Out of a total of 8 awards, Lazzeri's poinsettia genetics claimed 6. Among the awarded varieties, Alaska stood out as a global reference in pure white poinsettias, known for its adaptability to all plant forms and sizes. Similarly, the experimental red variety Lazz1625, the red variety Maestro Red and the versatile Superba Mix demonstrated Lazzeri's commitment to innovation and excellence in breeding.

Winner Benchmark 2024-2025: SV.CO with the pure white variety Alaska.
Nomination for Color (12–13 cm pots): Gevers with Alaska.
Nomination for Red (12–13 cm pots): Freek van der Velden with Maestro Red.
Nomination for Color (14 cm and larger pots): De Stadsweiden with Superba Mix.
Nomination for Color (up to 11 cm pots): SV.CO with Alaska (6 cm).
