Armenian greenhouse company Atanesyans LLC began its journey in 2022 with an investment in 2 hectares of rose greenhouses in Gagarin village, Gegharkunik province. This project quickly expanded, and by 2024, it grew to 7 ha of state-of-the-art greenhouse for rose production, and 0,5 ha of tulip cultivation. Looking ahead to 2025, the company is planning an additional 2 hectares of greenhouses.

It's an example of how the Armenian horticultural industry has undergone changes, says Benjamin Richel with Richel Group. Over the past few years, the company has financed more than 10 million euros into the greenhouse sector.
