Mangave shows off resilience in testing

Plantipp has announced the completion of thorough testing on the Mangave Mad About Mangave series, highlighting the plants' drought resilience and adaptability for both indoor and outdoor environments.

The comprehensive tests at Royal Flora Holland's Naaldwijk test center evaluated the plants under challenging conditions designed to simulate real-world consumer scenarios. Delivered on May 15, 2024, the plants underwent a rigorous process, including a 2-day transport simulation in darkness, followed by an outdoor sales phase.

In the outdoor consumer phase the plants were placed in the test garden from spring to autumn. The Mangave Mad About Mangave plants survived the entire period, relying solely on natural rainfall for hydration, demonstrating their suitability for low-maintenance gardening.

With their ability to thrive in challenging conditions, the Mangave series offers sustainable, low-maintenance options that align with modern consumers' needs for resilient and environmentally friendly plants.
