With 30 years of experience in the pots and plant container industry, Ronald van Dijk has decided to start his own agency: vandijk agency. Under the slogan "Bringing growers and producers together," he will represent the products of Polish Sterna Floser and German Osko. Vandijk agency has acquired the exclusive sales rights for Floser Sterna in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. For Osko, this applies to the Netherlands and Belgium.

With twenty years of experience at Royal Brinkman and ten years at Henke, Ronald knows the industry like no other. In his roles, he not only sold pots and containers but was also closely involved in the development of various pots and product series. With his agency, he offers not only products but also in-depth knowledge and advice – something that is increasingly in demand.
"Over the years, I've noticed a decline in product knowledge among dealers and traders, along with an increasing reliance on producers. Growers have often asked me what value a dealer or trader still brings. With my agency, I aim to offer practical support by contributing knowledge, experience, and expertise. Osko and Floser Sterna are both established names looking to expand their markets with Ronald's agency.
Osko is a renowned German producer (since 1750), specializing in injection-molded pots and containers (from 6 to 19 cm), with a strong focus on the German market. They recently launched the OSKAR range: biodegradable pots made from PBS biopolymer. When broken down by microorganisms, only CO₂ and water remain – no microplastics in the environment. An important advantage is that Osko's existing molds can be used, so high investments are not necessary. The entire range can thus also be produced in this sustainable material.
Floser Sterna is a relatively young (about 12 years) Polish production company, equipped with modern injection molding machines. They produce a complete range, including pots, containers, tree containers, square pots, bowls, and hanging pots, mainly for the Polish market. They are not yet active in Western Europe but hope to expand their sales area through vandijk agency. The product quality will certainly not be an issue.
