Beautifully set tables, a diverse group of guests, and a luxurious lunch provided the perfect setting to celebrate the first anniversary of the Nadia Duran Spray Rose at Dutch grower Voorn Spray Roses. Australian wedding and event planner Nadia Duran introduced 'her' Spray Rose to the market a year ago, in collaboration with Voorn Spray Roses and Dutch breeder Interplant Roses. The celebration took place last Friday.

"From start to finish, we have the entire supply chain at the table," Nadia shares in her speech. "From growers to hoteliers, we all need each other to strengthen this wonderful sector. I am truly grateful that all of you are here."
Martijn Ilsink of Interplant Roses, the breeder of the Nadia Duran Spray Rose, is also thrilled with the successful collaboration. "It's crucial for the entire industry to work together for a bright future. We need everyone's contribution to make the Spray Roses a success. It's a unique product, and there are still new and larger markets for us to explore. With the launch of the third edition of the World of Spray Roses magazine, we've taken another step forward in that direction."

The Nadia Duran Spray Rose is not yet in bloom; a few more weeks of patience are needed. In the meantime, Frank Voorn seizes the moment to present Nadia with a new Spray Rose: the 'Happy Wedding.' This premium pink-and-cream Interplant variety is a recent addition to Voorn's range and, as the name suggests, is perfectly suited for the wedding season.

During lunch, guests enjoyed a range of treats, all with a hint of rose. There were mocktails with rose petals, rose-infused watermelon, and cotton candy sprinkled with rose powder. It was a relaxed Friday afternoon of networking, gathered around a long table surrounded by roses, with live jazz music playing softly in the background.
