Maersk updates container color after 51 years

Maersk, a Danish container carrier, has transitioned from grey to bright blue containers after 51 years. This change applies to 85,000 units ordered in China, with more expected in the market. Reefer containers retain their white color.

The container color update aligns with modifications in Maersk's vessel designs. Since 2023, new ships have white hull markings, replacing the previous black. Additionally, the carrier's seven-pointed star is now prominently displayed on the hull.
