Sjaak van der Tak to open Dutch Lily Days

Growers are invited to attend the opening of the Dutch Lily Days on Tuesday, June 3, at De Jong Lelies in Andijk! During the opening on June 3, the former chair of the Netherlands Agricultural and Horticultural Association (LTO), Sjaak van der Tak, will give a speech. There is a special focus this year on the radical changes in the national and international lily sector, partly due to political developments.

On the first day of the Dutch Lily Days, the annual Lily Product Day will also take place at De Jong Lelies in Andijk, organized by Royal FloraHolland. Under the theme "Moving forward together in a changing world," the afternoon program will focus on current developments in the lily sector. During an interactive panel session, representatives from different parts of the supply chain will share their insights and experiences. Special attention will also be given to the promotion of the lily. This event brings the entire lily sector together and offers ample opportunities for exchange, inspiration, and collaboration.

During the Dutch Lily Days, thirteen prominent lily growers are opening the doors to their companies for four days. Visitors will have a great and up-to-date overview of what the Dutch lily sector has to offer. Breeders will reveal their latest innovations and show that lily cultivation continues to develop and take interesting steps. The Lily Days are also an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing relationships.
