NL: Magical Garden Plants presents seven new varieties at FlowerTrials

Kolster is busy preparing for the FlowerTrials, the Dutch plant event taking place from June 10–13. The breeder from Boskoop will present no fewer than seven new garden plants under its brand Magical Garden Plants. These are healthy, vigorous plants, carefully selected to ensure growers' success. During the FlowerTrials, attendees will not only see these garden plants in an inspiring booth but also at the nursery itself. Cotinus Magical Purple

Meet the deep-red Cotinus Magical Purple. Compared to Royal Purple, it offers significant advantages: better branching, stronger stems, and a more compact growth habit.

Iberis Magical Summer Vibes

Iberis Magical Summer Vibes does not require a cold period and naturally forms a beautiful, rounded cushion when grown as a solitary plant. It blooms for a long time with strong lavender-pink flowers.

Salvia Magical River

The Salvia Magical River series has been expanded. It now includes 16 richly flowering cultivars across the entire color spectrum. The cultivation period is very short—cuttings grow into flowering plants in just 10 weeks. The flowering period is extensive, from June until the first frost.

Hydrangea paniculata Magical Monte Nova

For hydrangea growers, the new Hydrangea paniculata Magical Monte Nova is a must-have. In its first year, it develops into a blooming, visually appealing plant from a rooted cutting. This shortens the cultivation time by an entire year!

Hydrangea arborescens Magical Dark Pink

Also admire the robust, pink Hydrangea arborescens Magical Dark Pink, the compact Hydrangea quercifolia Magical Toy Soldier, and the double-flowered Hydrangea quercifolia Magical Snowcicle.

As the cherry on top, Kolster will also showcase a beautiful selection of cut flowers. In addition to the booths, you can visit the 10-hectare nursery.
