The Bransford Webbs Plant Company is supporting the Schools Garden Challenge at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival for the fourth consecutive year.
For 2025, eight schools are participating in the challenge to build a 4m x 4m garden based on the theme of "Around the World." The children must design and build their garden and grow a portion of the plants themselves, encouraging them to gain valuable hands-on experience with plants and horticulture. The organizers received over $10,000 worth of stock from Bransford Webbs at the end of April for the children to use to complete their gardens and add the final splashes of color.
Best in Show for the school gardens is awarded by RHS judges, who will move on to judging at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in a couple of weeks, while Bransford Webbs presents four awards, including Best Use of Color and Best Use of Recycling.
"We are delighted to support the Schools Garden Challenge at the Malvern Spring Festival," commented David Chilvers, Sales and Marketing Director. "It's inspiring to see young minds engaging with horticulture, creativity, and sustainability, and we're proud to play a part in nurturing the next generation of garden designers."
