From Tuesday, June 10, to Friday, June 13, Beekenkamp Plants will once again open its doors for the annual Flower Trials. This year, they invite visitors to explore the essence of their existence with the renewed theme: "Beekenkamp Roots to Bloom."
Established as a family business in 1951, growing young plants is in Beekenkamp's roots. What started as a 1-hectare nursery, driven by passion, hard work, and dedication, has grown into an internationally known breeder and young plant producer. During Flower Trials 2025, they hope to show how these roots still form the foundation of everything they do—from innovation to sustainability, and from craftsmanship to collaboration.
The journey begins in the heart of Beekenkamp. Visitors step through the hygiene gate and experience what goes on inside their greenhouses. From there, the plants continue their journey to growers, retailers, and garden centers, until they finally shine in their ultimate destination: a beautiful, blooming garden.
During the Flower Trials, the Pericallis POP series will once again be on display. POP will be presented in both 12 cm and 15 cm pots. Visitors can also discover the powerful appearance and unique characteristics of Verbena Fuerte. Both crops are true eye-catchers and offer plenty of inspiration for growers, retailers, and garden centers.
A special highlight this year is the introduction of the LaBella Dahlia Grande Chocolate series—a dark-leaved series with double flowers in four colors. In addition, a completely new crop will be introduced. Visitors can discover the countless possibilities these genetics have to offer.
