Kenyan roses arrive in the Nehterlands: by rail and sea

"Great news: the first container of Kenyan roses that travelled by rail and around the Cape has arrived in the Netherlands!", Dutch Flower Group shares on LinkedIn. "This container was symbolically sent off during the State Visit of Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Mรกxima to Kenya in March.

"We celebrated the arrival at Dutch Flower Group together with our partners. Marco Verheul (DFG) welcomed and thanked them for their collaboration. From the Nini farm in Naivasha, the container went by rail to Mombasa Port and was then shipped by sea to Rotterdam. A milestone in developing the Cool Logistics Corridor and an example of how we're working towards more sustainable flower transport with our IMPACT2030 strategy."
