From June 3 to 6, 2025, the world of lilies will take center stage during the annual Dutch Lily Days. This event offers breeders, growers, and traders the opportunity to meet and exchange knowledge about the latest trends and developments.

Rise of double-flowered varieties
There is expected to be particularly strong interest in double-flowered lilies. These nearly peony-like varieties are receiving very positive reactions internationally, and the cultivated area is expanding significantly. The rise of double-flowered varieties is occurring across nearly all groups, such as LA hybrids, Orientals, and OT hybrids. Double-flowered lilies are a welcome addition to the wide range of varieties available in the market.

The opening ceremony took place at De Jong Lelies Holland
The event kicked off this morning at De Jong Lelies Holland. During the opening, former LTO chairman Sjaak van der Tak gave a speech. This year, special attention is being paid to the major changes in the national and international lily sector, partly driven by political developments.
