SDF will supply the software control for the automatic cultivation system for one of the locations of Kwekerij de Groot, namely Gebr. Houtepen in Prinsenbeek, the Netherlands.
This system automatically controls the cultivation gutters with shuttles when plants are moved. Whether feeding, widening, sorting or delivering, everything can be controlled from SDF Horti Software. Besides the combination with sister company HAWE, SDF also does this with other parties, like in this case with WPS.
"After an extensive orientation, we arrived at SDF as the best party to optimally automate our greenhouse. From our parent company Kwekerij J. De Groot we already had considerable experience with SDF in order processing, in addition we use SDF's Greenhouse Manager to control the cultivation tables. We also knew that SDF can control delivery buffers, with automatic chutes. We were able to set up the specialized software that facilitates the latter in such a way that it will work optimally for controlling our cultivation system with gutters.
