Since April 2025, the BFA has been running heats all over the UK. These took place at their Hub meetings in Glasgow, Northern Ireland, Sheffield, Bristol, and London. They were very pleased to see the level of enthusiasm and skill in both of the competitions.
UK Florist of the Year (5 years + experience)
UK Florist of the Year: Newcomer (Under 5 years' experience)
The competitors from each heat were awarded a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, but it is the top 6 scorers from across all the UK Heats that go through to the finals. Finalists will compete live at FleurEx in October, with the UK Florist of the Year winner automatically securing their place in the 2026 finals to compete to represent the UK at Eurofleurs in Spain in 2027.
The finalists for the UK Florist of the Year 2025 are Katie Haslam, Abigail McGuire, Helen Pannitt, Laura Pannitt, Tina Pound, and Victoria Veasey.
The finalists for the UK Florist of the Year 2024 in the Newcomer category are Lauren Atkinson, Abby Dewhurst, Macy McMeekin, Suzie McMullan, Victoria Upton, and Anastasia Watson.
