From Sunday 2 to Friday 7 November, Waterdrinker will once again host its GTC Days – six days of buying and inspiration. This edition shines a spotlight on the 'Jungle Icons': plants that are so much more than just green. The GTC Days attract florists, garden centres, wholesalers and retailers from all over Europe. These trade days offer the opportunity to discover new trends and stock up on the most exclusive plants, flowers, and accessories.
Step into the jungle
With a surface area of 25,000 m² and an assortment of more than 9,000 different products, the Waterdrinker Green Trade Center in Aalsmeer is the place for green professionals. During the GTC Days, the buying and inspiration centre will be transformed into a world of botanical wonder, where visitors can explore creative displays, discover unique products, and enjoy exclusive offers and deals.
For this edition, Waterdrinker is pulling out all the stops once again. In collaboration with Orchidee Nederland and the collective Groene Planten (in formation), the "Jungle Icons" will take centre stage. To highlight this theme, master florist Florian Seyd and horticulturist Ueli Signer of The Wunderkammer will transform the entrance hall of the GTC into an impressive jungle. Featuring both orchids and green plants, supplied by a group of dedicated growers, they demonstrate just how iconic these plants truly are. These inspiring creations show how plants and stories can enhance one another, forming a natural statement in any environment.
Extensive assortment
Alongside these special product presentations, Waterdrinker – together with growers and breeders – will showcase a diverse and distinctive range. Under the labels Novelty, Specialty, Our Treasures, and Our Trend Collection, visitors can discover everything from unique introductions and exclusive finds to seasonal must-haves. Nowhere else will you find such a complete and inspiring collection all in one place.
Inspiration & information
During several meet & greets with growers, visitors will have the chance to meet the people behind the products and learn more about their plants, innovations, and cultivation techniques. These personal encounters bring the passion and craftsmanship of the growers straight from the greenhouse to the exhibition floor. In addition, visitors can look forward to a touch of gold: the iconic dress by floral designer Hanneke Frankema, known for her spectacular GROWTH! show during the World Cup Floral Art 2025, will once again shine at the GTC during these trade days.
International visitors
The November edition of the GTC Days attracts an international audience every year, thanks in part to the simultaneous Trade Fair Aalsmeer. To make it easy for guests to visit both events, Waterdrinker offers a free shuttle service connecting the two venues. "We look forward to welcoming our customers and visitors into our green jungle — to inspire them and offer an unforgettable experience," says Waterdrinker.

Opening hours are as follows: Sunday, 2 November from 05:00 to 12:00; Monday, 3 November from 05:00 to 20:00; Tuesday, 4 November from 05:00 to 17:00; Wednesday, 5 November from 05:00 to 17:00; Thursday, 6 November from 05:00 to 17:00; and Friday, 7 November from 05:00 to 13:00.
