Recyclable paperboard vase arrangement wins “Best Sustainable Packaging”

Dutchess Bouquets, in collaboration with FlowerBox and Graphic Packaging International, has announced its win for Best Sustainable Packaging at the 2025 IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show. The award celebrates the IntegraVase Arrangement — a 100% recyclable paperboard vase arrangement designed to merge beauty, sustainability, and functionality for the modern floral marketplace.

The IntegraVase Arrangement is delivered fully assembled with Dutchess Bouquets' premium blooms, offering retailers a turnkey, eco-friendly floral solution that requires no in-store labor. The vase's intelligent design features a recyclable paperboard outer shell and an integrated fiber-based liner that holds water securely, performing as beautifully as it looks — and standing apart from traditional glass or ceramic options.

"This award validates what we've always believed — that innovation and sustainability can live beautifully together," said Beth O'Reilly AIFD, TMF, Product Development Creator for Dutchess Bouquets. "Our partnership with FlowerBox and Graphic Packaging brings a fresh, eco-conscious solution to the mass-market floral industry — one that saves labor, reduces waste, and tells a story consumers can feel good about."

In repulpability testing conducted by Graphic Packaging International, the IntegraVase achieved over 92% fiber recovery yield, confirming its recyclability performance and meeting operational standards in every category.

Dutchess Bouquets also debuted the award-winning IntegraVase Arrangement in a new design celebrating the "That Flower Feeling" campaign, alongside the launch of its Grown Good flower line — sustainably grown blooms from its farm in Baja California that highlight the company's deep-rooted commitment to responsible growing practices and emotional well-being through flowers.

"We're thrilled to see this collaboration recognized for its sustainability impact," said Travis Rigby, Founder of FlowerBox. "IntegraVase embodies how thoughtful design can make sustainability effortless for retailers and inspiring for consumers."

The IntegraVase Arrangement was showcased in the Sustainable Packaging Innovations category at the IFPA Fresh Ideas Showcase at The Global Produce & Floral Show, where attendees experienced firsthand how this collaboration is shaping the future of floral packaging — one vase at a time.
