An exciting opportunity to join our growing team in this strong operationally focused role suited to those with a hands-on approach who enjoy working outdoors. Reporting to the Southern Operations Manager, you will be involved in executing trials across irrigation, fertigation, as well as pest and disease programs. You will be responsible for managing the day to day labour and site operational needs as well as ensuring crop health and monitoring is maintained on a daily basis.

  • Supervising the growing and trial activities extending to crop husbandry practices
  • Managing and supervising the planning and harvesting activities on the site
  • Collecting and analysing trial and harvest data and maintaining data integrity
  • Ensuring compliance with all site safety and maintenance activities
  • Providing regular reports to Agronomy team
  • Packing and dispatching of fruit to DC’s


To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate the following in your application:

  • Completion of tertiary qualifications in Agronomy or Plant Science preferred but not essential
  • Previous exp. providing supervision to small teams/crop sites
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Chemical Spraying Certification preferred but can provide on-the-job training
  • Unrestricted working rights
