However, Trouw (a Dutch magazine) says that a bite will only lead to a swelling in 90% of the cases, and according, to the newspaper, after asking a Dutch reptile centre, a wasp sting can be more dangerous.
No large investigation will take place. The spider will not go to the village and probably has been eaten by other animals already, says Walter Getreuer of the reptile center, reports NOS
The spider originates from Middle South America.
