Flores El Capiro celebrates 10 years of sending flowers by sea
"How could we deliver our flowers in refrigerated containers to keep them at their best quality standards and all the freshness at the lowest cost?" Many years ago, Colombian chrysanthemum grower Flores El Capiro asked themselves this question and now, they are already celebrating their 10th anniversary of sending sea freight containers with flowers.
In 2008, they packed their first flowers into huge containers and shipped them to the UK and Chile. Now, they are said to be one of the world leaders in sea freight transport. In this video below of their anniversary in which they show the entire process from growing till packaging and shipping the flowers in just under one minute.
