Since 3 September 2015, growers have been able to set their own minimum price on the auction clock in all product groups.

Grower Minimum Price was rolled out some time ago - in pilot form - for the large-flowered and mini gerbera, pot gerbera, anthurium and rose product groups.
Following positive feedback from the relevant participants and the increasing demand from other suppliers to set their own minimum prices, it was decided to introduce the Grower Minimum price for all product groups from 3 September 2015.
Optimal and stable pricing
With Grower Minimum price, suppliers have more control over their clock sales. This innovation on the clock is one of the measures that FloraHolland has taken to contribute to an optimal and stable pricing.

How it works
The grower sets a minimum price for a product. If the clock selling price is less than the minimum price, the product is not sold and is removed from sale. During the auction, customers can see the minimum price which is marked with a dark blue point (if the minimum price is in the current round) and light blue if the minimum price falls in a higher round.
What are the rules?
- Each supplier can set a Grower Minimum price via the EAB per lot.
- Participation is voluntary. If no Grower Minimum price is set, the standard minimum will apply.
- The grower decides the minimum price himself. This is an individual minimum price for one lot.
- The Grower Minimum price is adjustable per lot.
- Lots 'under the Grower Minimum price' are not sold and are destroyed.
- Grower Minimum price is available in all export locations, including the Flower Clock Auction in Naaldwijk. In Eelde, Grower Minimum price is not available.
- The Grower Minimum price is higher that the standard minimum price for the relevant product group.
