Future-proof business
This year's theme was future-proof business. The nominated companies - Ebben, Ter Laak Orchids, Eosta and Royal Brinkman- were all screened regarding this matter. Ebben convinced the jury with its international network and focus on sustainability. "For others, this is often a side issue, for us, it is the main," says Toon Ebben.

According to Nico Koomen, the chairman, it was not easy to compare the nominated companies because they are all very different. As well as the Tree Nursery, also the distributor in biological vegetables and fruits Eosta, Phaleanopsis grower Ter Laak Orchids and horticultural supplier Royal Brinkman were nominated. All companies are highly focused on sustainable entrepreneurship and have a strong international presence.
