Sneak peek California Spring Trials

Flamingo Holland - Blinky Beach flow 

The Blinky Beach Flow is one of the new varieties of Flamingo Holland. This dianthus varieties is part of the new series of pot carnations that are known for their large flowers and unique color range. With 6 eye colors there is something for everyone. Like most dianthus, this series has a spicy clove scent. Bloom size ranges from an astonishing 1-1/2 to 2-1/2". The Flow series blooms early and will rebloom if deadheaded and fertilized, giving a long season of enjoyment. All Dianthus Flow pot carnations can be used both indoors and outdoors and are programmable for year round production. Plant height is 6-8" and is suitable for quart thru gallon production. Terra Nova Nurseries - Heucherella Plum Cascade™


According to Terra Nova, their new Heucherella Plum Cascade™ is the first purple Heucherella, and it’s trailing. This ‘Plum Cascade’ has lobed, purple silver leaves. Morel Diffusion - Premium Abanico® Magenta



The Premium Abanico® Magenta is a novelty from Morel Diffusion. It is a cyclamen in midi type with a special flower available early in the season. Abanico® refers to a new fan-shaped flower. Wavy and bicolor petals, with a large white edge. Many blooms with a triangular dense foliage. Premium Abanico® is available in 3 colors: Magenta, Light Purple and Salmon. These new varieties were bred to offer diversity with wavy flower type in the beginning of the season when temperatures are warmer. The Sweet Caroline® is a new introduction in the Garvinea Sweet range of Florist Holland. This newest edition produces magnificent, large flowers for plenty of color to enjoy. Blooming from early spring until late fall. According to Florist Holland, they generate four to five times more flowers than other daisies to brighten your garden and container plantings. Sweet Caroline attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds, but is not on the menu of rabbits and deer. As all Garvineas, Sweet Caroline is resistant to pests and diseases. Geranien Endisch - Xtreme Night


 

The Xtreme Night of Geranien Endisch is a new interspecific pelargonium. After the successful launch of the first interspecific Endisch variety Xtreme red, two additional hybrids follow in the colours Scarlet and Night. The zonal character of the foliage is complemented by three-dimensional growth in height, depth and width. All pelargoniums in the Xtremely series are easy to cultivate in mountains and valleys, adaptable in containers, window boxes and flower beds, good branching and strong growth, rich blooming, long flowering, attractive long distance effect and finally weather-proof. The Xtreme night is small to medium, its foliage is green and has delicate zoning. Despite the blackish red, the color remains stable in wind and weather. Compared to their other Xtreme varieties, it is the first to bloom and it develops growth spurts in all directions. Volmary - Verbena x peruviana 'Vectura®'


The Verbena x peruviana 'Vectura®' is a new variety of Volmary. All colors in this series a uniform, flat-topped, spherical habit. The brightly coloured flowers cover the entire plant. The dark green, finely feathered foliage provides a good pot cover.
