The first edition of Flor Expo Ecuador has ended last week. This exhibition, organized by Ecuadorian association of flower exporters Expoflores, took place in the New Metropolitan Convention Center Quito, where over 110 of their members promoted their products and services. How was the first edition? We asked Alejandro Martinez, CEO of Expoflores. “For a first time, we are very pleased. It was a very stressful run-up of the expo - the floor was already fully booked, but the Metropolitan Convention Center Quito was not ready yet. Fortunately, it was ready on time and the first edition of Expo Flor Ecuador could take off." The Expo Flor Ecuador is also the first show for the Convention Center.
Alejandro gives full credits to the Expoflores team and their members. "Everyone cooperated, they took it as their own and fully focused on the realization of the show and the layout of it."
And it seemed that they have done a good job. Visitors immediately noticed the professional appearance of the exhibition floor. The quality of the flowers stood out as well. “The climate of the Expo has been perfect for the vase life of the flowers”, says one of the exhibitors.
All in all, everything exceeded the expectations of the organization. “We already surpassed the number of desired exhibitors for the complete show on the second day.”
