Russia: Rose grower in Dmitrov to expand greenhouse with 6ha

The third phase of the greenhouse complex Podosinky for rose growing in Dmitrov situated next to Moscow is planned to be constructed within three years, reported the general director of the enterprise, Ms. Yulia Charyshkina.

The respective agreement has been signed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Moscow region within the 20th agricultural exhibition Golden Autumn in Moscow.

“The agreement presupposes the increase of productivity, we are planning to construct another 6 ha of production facilities”, mentioned Ms. Charyshkina.

The general director of the enterprise clarified that the project will be carried out in the area, neighboring to the currently functioning production facility of 9 ha.

“We are expecting the project documentation to be ready within 1.5-2 years, and the construction to take 9 months to a year”, said Ms. Charyshkina.

According to her, the launch of the third project phase will allow for the production increase by 60%, up to 35 million flowers a year.

The investment volume amounts to 22 million Euro.

Greenhouse complex Podosinky sells roses in Moscow region, Ivanovsk, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod regions as well as in Krasnodarsky Kray and Stavropolsky Kray.
