EFSA panel renewal 2018: plant health

Are you an expert in pest risk assessment, entomology, plant pathology, plant disease epidemiology, integrated pest and disease management, population ecology or modelling of plant pests? Do you have experience of assessing the risks to plants from pests such as insects, mites, nematodes, fungi, bacteria, phytoplasma, viruses, viroids, or parasitic plants? Would you like to put your expertise at the service of hundreds of millions of European consumers? Then you should consider applying to be an expert on EFSA’s Scientific Panel on Plant Health.

What does the Plant Health Panel do?
The Plant Health Panel provides scientific advice on the potential risks posed by pests to plants and plant products – including farm crops – forestry and biodiversity, landscape plants and ornamentals. Its work supports the regulatory controls that are in place to protect the European Union from the introduction and spread of plant pests.
