Grower opts for Bercomex RoseMatic

Kenya: P.J. Dave Flowers invests in grading quality

The need for increased automation and professionalism in flower processing flows grows worldwide. This trend is also seen in Kenya, where rose farm P.J. Dave Flowers Ltd. will be grading their Rhodos roses using a Bercomex RoseMatic. This rose grading machine meets the processing requirements of P.J. Dave Flowers Ltd. and has been used successfully for many years by farms around the world for the automatic grading of roses.

Better grading and uniform bunch quality
P.J. Dave Flowers Ltd. opted for a RoseMatic to help them achieve consistency of quality as well as more uniform bunches for their various rose gradings. This will make it possible to further expand the direct sales of the 60 hectare rose farm.

From June 2017 Bercomex collaborates with Bosman Van Zaal for service provision in Kenya. They will organise local service and parts supply from their Bosman Van Zaal business in Naivasha, while Bercomex will provide remote service assistance via an internet connection.

The collaboration between the parties concerned was ratified by the formal signing of the order for the RoseMatic during the IFTEX 2017 professional flower trade show in Kenya.
