PACOMBI GROUP starts construction of new distribution centre

The construction of a new distribution centre at the A4 at Den Hoorn (Harnaschpolder) of 30,000 m2 was symbolically started on Friday November 17 by Seb, the grandson of Jan Paardekooper, owner of PACOMBI GROUP. In the new location van der Windt Verpakking will be housed, a company that has been part of PACOMBI GROUP since 2013. The new distribution centre will have over 45,000 pallet places. As the PACOMBI GROUP invests heavily in sustainability, the building will be constructed according to BREEAM certification.

PACOMBI GROUP is one of the Netherlands' largest player in packaging and disposables. The assortment contains over 40,000 items, intended for the fruit and vegetable, horticultural, food, food retail and food service sectors. Companies such as Paardekooper Verpakkingen, Depa Disposables and Van der Windt Verpakkingen belong to the group.
