Video: Italian drugs hidden among Dutch flowers

The intrepid detectives at AgroCheck recently uncovered an international criminal scheme involving Dutch flowers and the Italian mafia.

It appears that particularly Italians like to use the logistic ant's nest of Dutch floriculture to ship illegal drugs. This is why the auditors at AgroCheck keep a close eye on Italian media. Recently a documentary was shown, made by Italian broadcaster Corriere Della Sera.

According to AgroCheck and Koen Voskuil, author of Maffiaparadijs (Maffia Paradise) and appearing in the video, the bottom line of the story is that, despite effective countermeasures in the past, organized crime still exploits FloraHolland hubs for the transportation of drugs.
