Over 300 people from the horticulture industry visited the Annual Poinsettia Trial and Open House at Millstadt Greenhouse and N.G. Heimos Greenhouses in Millstadt, IL. At this 9th edition, which was held on November 14, poinsettia varieties from five different breeders were showcased. "The trial'spurpose is to view what varieties are new introductions so other greenhousescan come and compare their current varieties with how ours look", says Adam Heimos of Millstadt Greenhouse and N. G. Heimos Greenhouse.
Additional to the trials they had two guest speakers; Dr. Jim Barrett of the University of Florida andDr. Raymond Cloyd of Kansas State University.
