Vanilla Sorbet baptised at IPM Essen

On 24 January, the new Vanilla Sorbet spray chrysanthemum was officially baptised on the Deliflor Chrysanten stand during the IPM in Essen. Floral arrangers Oliver Ferchland and Manfred Hoffmann from the Fachverband Deutscher Floristen (FDF) were present to carry out the baptism. Oliver suggested the name of this beautiful, vanilla-coloured variety during a visit to Deliflor last year. He was therefore given the honour of baptising the variety with 'his' name.

The rich, creamy colour of this new chrysanthemum is a striking addition to the product range and has been greeted with a very enthusiastic response. This new variety will be available at Dutch auctions from today (24.01). Zentoo will supply Vanilla Sorbet at a rate of around 35,000 stems per week. The launch during the IPM on the Deliflor Chrysanten stand (stand 1D12.08) was publicised by a magnificent ice cream float completely covered with Vanilla Sorbet. Visitors can also see Vanilla Sorbet at various locations throughout the IPM.
