solution for logistics, florist and consumer
NL: Tulips 3 days longer fresh with FreshPaq
Water in the stores during the sale and transport of fresh cut flowers may cause problems. Water is necessary to keep the flowers fresh but one risks wet stems in the store and during transport. In addition, water is not only a challenge for transporter and seller, but also for the consumer. They also will have to deal with wet and leaking stems during the journey home or to family and friends.
Robert Verbruggen of Chrysal with FreshPaq, last month at the HortiContact fair in Gorinchem
Chrysal has, with FreshPaq introduced a solution for this problem. The resealable packaging for tulips, which was already presented last January at the IPM and the Flora Decora, ensures that the tulips stay fresh without the use of water.
Transport and placing of tulips in the store becomes much easier with the FreshPaq. The packaging is also suitable for online sales. In FreshPaq, tulips remain at least 3 days fresh and retailing is possible. In the packaging, they remain fresh for another 24 hours after purchase. The consumer does not need to rush to put them in a vase. That makes FreshPaq also ideal as gift wrapping.
