Australian nursery industry looking for new leaders

If you’re part of the nursery and garden industry, and interested in taking the next step in your leadership journey, now is your opportunity.

The Green Industry Growing Leaders Program is now calling for applications, and is open to anyone in the nursery supply chain who’s interested in building leadership skills in their own life, own business, or in the industry.

Whether you’re a foreman looking to better manage a few staff, someone facing the challenges of running a business, or you’re interested in helping to provide leadership for your industry, this course will help you progress to higher levels of leadership.

The program will provide skills and training in:

How to build leadership skills and apply them in business
Using networking to gain a greater understanding of yourself and others, to positively influence industry outcomes
The link between leadership skills and innovation, and how innovation can be applied in business.

There are two face-to-face sessions, in Sydney 30-31 May and Brisbane 1-2 August. In between, there will be phone/webinar contact and mentoring, giving participants an opportunity to put their new skills to the test within their own business. The course is fully funded, apart from travel costs.
