Chinese TV visits Dutch flower industry

Chinese TV station CCTV made a series of three episodes about the flower industry in the Netherlands, together with Frank Timmerman of Tulipspecialist, showing the flower industry in the Netherlands.

The Chinese TV station CCTV practically filmed the whole flower chain: auction, flower export, nursery and breeding. And of course: processing of flowers.

One of the episodes shows growing and handling of tulips at G. Oud en Zn tulips BV in Andijk. This tulip nursery processes all tulips with three Bercomex Furora's. One of the Furora tulip processing systems is filmed, demonstrating the fully automatically grading and bunching.
