"Terrariums provide an accessible way to welcome natural beauty into your home"

Step into the world of Wardians, an oasis of green and elegance in glass. But what hides behind this name, Wardians? To unravel the origin, we dive into the intriguing history of Nathaniel Bagshaw Ward, an English physician and amateur botanist in the 19th century. Who stumbled upon the idea of closed terrariums by chance?

Green and innovation
Wardians, named after Nathaniel Ward, is a contemporary producer of glass terrariums. Wardians was founded in 1996. What started as a Cymbidium nursery grew into a business specializing in terrariums under the leadership of Wim and Jolanda Paauwe and their team. Wardians combines glass craftsmanship with greenery, offering a range of terrarium designs to elevate any living space. Wardians is constantly innovating, aiming to introduce at least 2 new creations to the market each year. The assortment now comprises more than 30 different terrariums.

From invention to refinement
Each Wardians terrarium is carefully crafted, with all natural products sourced from MPS-GAP-certified growers. These glass enclosures create the environment for nurturing a miniature indoor garden. Whether you're a seasoned plant enthusiast or a novice gardener, Wardians' terrariums provide a way to welcome natural beauty into your home."
