Leo Lievaart new CCO Van der Knaap Group

From 1 March, Leo Lievaart joined the management team of Van der Knaap Group as chief commercial officer. Leo will be responsible for managing the sales (activities) of various business units within the organization.

At Van der Knaap Groep, Leo will be in charge of the sales organization of the business units Rooting, Substrate, and Coco. "Leo brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we are convinced that his leadership will play an important role in stimulating growth and further professionalizing our sales organization," said Peter van den Dool, company development officer at Van der Knaap.

During his career, Leo gained a lot of knowledge of horticulture at various companies, both on the grower and trader side and the supplier side. As a result, he knows the ins and outs of the supply chain and an (international) production company. He also brings a lot of experience in international business.

What attracts him to Van der Knaap Group? "I see the supply chain becoming shorter and shorter and the role of the supplier becoming more and more important. Van der Knaap Group is involved in research and is invested in the quality of raw materials and products. There is a clear vision for sustainability. With the wide product range, we can support customers worldwide in their cultivation. By increasingly taking on an advisory role, we aim to expand customer service. In short, I want to introduce the world to the added value of Van der Knaap!"
