The only annual orchid show and fair in Scotland is set to return to Glasgow for its 25th year. The Glasgow Botanic Gardens Orchid Fair 2024 will take place on Saturday, May 11, and Sunday, May 12, in the historic Kibble Palace.
The event allows guests to admire displays of the exotic plants, as well as purchase a wide range of orchids from specialist UK nurseries.
The Orchid Fair is free to attend, and members of the Scottish Orchid Society, who assist with the event's running, will be on hand to offer advice on how to care for your orchids or answer any questions.
Alan MacKenzie, chair of the Scottish Orchid Society, said: "We are delighted to welcome a large range of orchid societies and traders this year, there really will be something for everyone."
