On the right side of the picture a new variety that will be added to the kitchen fruit assortiment. It is still waiting for a name. The new variety is as much as 3 weeks earlier. The old trusted variety Delizz is on the left side of the picture. The difference is clearly visible. The new variety will soon be named. In addition, there are several more new varieties that are currently being tested.

The Solar Scape is the first interspecific impatiens from seed. It is non-branded and there are no royalties or marketing costs to be paid. Carola Mantel – van Rijnsoever and René Knijn from Hem Genetics at the Shake. The new hybrid Petunia produces a sea of differently colored flowers. It is a compact variety, naturally from seed, and no retardants are needed because it has been bred to ensure the plant remains nicely compact.

The stems reach about 60 centimeters, which is slightly shorter than the original cut snapdragons. But for many bouquets, that is not a problem.
