Meeuwes Brouwer Agricultural Councellor for Moscow, Russia and Kazachstand and Renee Jones-Bos Ambassador in Moscow were present at the opening of the show. Jones-Bos told in her speech that Russia is a very important market for Dutch plants and flowers and that the export volumes have grown over the last year, by 13 percent. Also the Dutch are becoming more important in terms of sharing knowledge and techniques due to Russians self sufficient drive. The export of Dutch starting material has grown by 25 percent over the last year.
