Dutch participants elated about trade mission to China

The recent trade mission to China has been a success for the Dutch agrifood sector. That is the conclusion of a telephonic inquiry round (by the Ministry of Agriculture) with participants of the trip (8-13 April). During the mission new contacts were made and agreements were reached on mutual trade.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality already announced that during the mission Dutch companies signed cooperation agreements for nearly EUR 200 million. Important trade agreements have been made in areas such as baby food, greenhouse cultivation, poultry, storage and processing of potatoes, breeding and agricultural research.
