Turkey: Local municipality of Cankaya in Ankara will grow 600,000 summer flowers

The local municipality of Cankaya located in the capital of Turkey continues to grow summer flowers in its greenhouses and the goal is to have 600,000 summer flowers ready to decorate parks and green areas.
 
The efforts to grow summer flowers have intensified since the start of the spring and the municipality has recently increased its production capacity by setting up new greenhouses. The planting process of these flowers have already started and the parks are started to be filled with flowers of different colors. 

The municipality formed a company named Cansera for this purpose and its production capacity has increased by 35 % with the aforementioned addition of the new greenhouses. Begonia, petunia, calenduleae, aster and sweet alison are among the varieties grown in these greenhouses.
