NL: Arend Roses introduces Red Eagle during customer event

Arend Roses places its latest rose, Red Eagle, centre stage during the customer event taking place in Maasland on 8 September. It’s the sixth new product that they are launching this year. Managing director Remco van der Arend describes the flower as “the star striker in the Premier League of red roses”. Just like the other five new products, Red Eagle is being introduced with a video, this time entitled 'The magic of Red Eagle'. During the event chef Yuri Verbeek will be providing a tasting of dishes inspired by all the new roses from Arend Roses.



Magical
Red Eagle from breeder Kordes Rosen is being seen as the successful newcomer. The rose has an attractive bright red colour. The bud opens into a round rose with slightly curling petals. The bright red colour is maintained throughout the flowering. Red Eagle is available in all seasons, and is particularly suitable for Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
 
The magic of Red Eagle is being shown on Arend Roses’ website and social media. The film and the new roses will also be highlighted through channels including trade media, Flower Factor and inspiration leaflets, and at the FloraZon event (25-26 September), Fleuramour Alden Biesen (23-26 September), Fleurex UK (22-23 October) and the TradeFair in Aalsmeer in November.



Varieties of Excellence
The introduction of the new roses is part of the change of course which Arend Roses has adopted under the slogan Varieties of Excellence. The company is thereby responding to the changing market. Remco van der Arend says: “The focus at Arend Roses is on a wide range of exclusive roses with the guarantee of reliability of supply and an à la carte service. The goal is and remains for us to excel with a broad and exclusive range.” The marketing campaign around the introduction of the roses is being executed by Fresh Retail.
