From April 29 to May 3, 2024, this year's Dutch Spring Trials will be held at Benary in Venhuizen, the Netherlands. During this event, they will present their latest breeding advancements, top-selling items, as well as proven series, presented side by side with competitive varieties.

Dichondra argentea Silver Surfer
"With superior germination rates (85% +) complemented by our BeGreen seed treatment, this variety ensures faster growth due to its outstanding root development. With silvery leaves, a trailing growth up to 60" (150 cm), and a strong performance under hot and dry conditions, Dichondra argentea Silver Surfer is suitable for hanging baskets, mixed containers, groundcover, or indoor use," the Benary team states.
Lobelia erinus F1 Masterpiece
According to Benary, this Lobelia hybrid from seed performs well in heat, making it suitable for challenging climates.
"With early flowering characterized by large blooms, good branching, and a minimum germination rate of 80%, this variety is perfect for pot and container production and is also suitable for landscape applications," the Benary team adds.
Penta lanceolata F1 Graffiti®
The Pentas series has 15 colors and 2 mixes."This series has excellent heat tolerance, garden performance, and uniformity in height and flower timing while offering the first bicolor tones in seed Pentas."
Petunia x hybrida F1 Boom
"This genetically compact multiflora Petunia series not only withstands diverse weather conditions but also ensures lush and dense growth. This variety demonstrates good field performance with early flowering and high uniformity in plant habit across the series," they conclude.
