Lubing GreenTec develops and produces products and solutions for an optimal growing climate in greenhouses, something they showed during this year's IPM Essen as well, where they put their pump stations in the spotlight and ran their fogging system at their booth. "You could feel the cooling effect immediately."
The system has been in use in different greenhouses since 2019 and supports growers to control the healthy humidity level during sunny days and reduce stress in their cultivations. From stevia, tomatoes and berry productions in Mexico; roses, ornamentals and cutting propagations in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland; strawberry production in the UK; vegetable production in Australia, and medical cannabis production in Switzerland. Lubing's high-pressure fogging units are also used in mushroom farms in Poland, Lithuania, and Canada and vegetable storage halls in Germany and Spain.
"The main feature of our high-pressure fogging system is its modularity, i.e., the system consists of small high-pressure modules that can be combined in a modular system. If the grower expands his greenhouse into new production areas, our system can also be expanded with a few additional high-pressure blocks. The simplicity of the system is also a key feature of the system - it is easy to use and maintain. Our flexibility in design - a wide range of pump sizes within the high-pressure modules. Each of the high-pressure modules from the pump station can be used as an independent system, which allows us to save space on the grower's side."
One grower that has been using Lubing technology in their greenhouse for a while now is Meyer Orchideen AG, who grows green plants and orchids. "These ideally grow at a humidity of 50 to 70%, which we can easily achieve with the Lubing fogging system and the climate computer, even under unfavorable conditions. The main advantage of this system is that it allows us to control the humidity in the greenhouses in a very simple and affordable way, which is a huge advantage for the growth of the plants. If there are individual departments that fail, we are always well supported by Lubing, and the employees always have a quick and uncomplicated solution," said Hanspeter Meyer from Meyer Orchideen AG.
