Belarusian entrepreneur cultivates tulips ahead of March 8th

In Belarus, the 24-year-old Alexey turned his passion for tulips into a thriving business. What started with a few flowers in his grandmother's shed has blossomed into three fully equipped greenhouses. While cultivating tulips may seem simple, Alexey emphasizes that the real challenge lies in marketing and sales.

Operating for five years now, Alexey sells his tulips wholesale across Belarus.

Currently, his property includes a refrigerator for storing flowers, a processing area for tulip sorting, and living quarters for the season.

To ensure optimal conditions, the greenhouse is equipped with sensors monitoring temperature and humidity.

The business entails expenses, including €35,000 solely on bulb purchases. Not to mention greenhouse construction and maintenance costs.

Success is not guaranteed in the tulip business, but Alexey states that he is committed to continued growth and investment. He believes that with careful planning and dedication, cultivating tulips can be both profitable and rewarding.
