Last week, the Royal FloralHolland Trade Fair took place and the vibes were positive. The trade for bedding and outdoor plants has started well. Purchases have been triggered by a couple of sunny days and this year's early Easter may have encouraged customers to purchase everything they need in time.
Traditionally, the Royal FloralHolland Trade Fair offers outdoor plant growers a major opportunity for activating trade and for presenting their assortment.
As usual, the Daltons were also present at the fair for their growers.
The Trade Fair, held in Rijswijk instead of Naaldwijk, traditionally marks the onset of spring for growers. The air is smaller than the November fair in Aalsmeer, but this fair too is a prime opportunity to highlight novelties and other current affairs regarding the offerings.

What stands out is that the fair is much smaller in scale and that its size may have been diminished compared to previous editions. Above all, it's a growers' fair as only a few suppliers that exhibited. Also, the number of visitors is modest and mainly consists of traders and a few retailers. Moreover, the attendees were predominantly Dutch. Although there were also a few attendees from Belgium, Germany, France, and the UK.
