Royal Van Zanten's new Pot Chrysanthemum novelty

Baptism of Fireworks

Monday morning January 30th, a large enthusiastic group of interested people attended the presentation and baptism of the new pot Chrysanthemum variety “Fireworks”.

Everyone was welcomed by Lisanne Fabriek (Marketer pot products) and Bert Koeze (Commercial Manager) who spoke to the attendees and introduced Dave Geerlings (the breeder of this particular variety).

The name of this new variety was selected from a list of suggestions sent in by various people: the winners won a ‘meet & greet’ with the breeder. The two winners (Jeroen Meeder and Bart Elfering) who were present were brought forward for the meet & greet with the breeder. Then the attendees were able to ask their questions to the breeder about the new variety.
