US (NY): Crazy Daisies: a family business with a special greenhouse
But, there is a crazy, as owner Jennifer Cox lays claim to that title in the business she started at six months pregnant with her sixth child. This year marks the farm's 10th anniversary, so — of course — she marked the decade by adding another greenhouse.
“My husband and I laugh," she said. "This Mother Earth thing is taking over."
The new greenhouse is organized by color and features artisan plants that one can only find at small greenhouses. Her other products include more than 30,000 plants, including 1,300 hanging baskets.
Annuals, perennials, succulents, vegetables, herbs, potting soil, hanging pansy globes and wreaths, fertilizer, pots, container gardens, instructional classes, container parties and fairy gardens are featured.
